The unmentioned might of a woman was written by Zoeloe and published on the 31st of July in 2014.

This article was written from a daughter's point of view, where she embraces/ appreciates the strength and presence of a woman in her life and all the women who are not given the recognition they deserve for being great beings. 

Firstly, this article argues that women deserve to be celebrated more often in a year and that a month to celebrate women is not enough. It argues that the society "men" have a negative attitude towards gender relationships, that females are inferior and seek approval from men and that  men down on their female counterparts,  because the writer advises women that before they look for adulation from their male partners.  They should actually remember to recognize and acknowledge themselves because men will never thank women as they are drowning in their own pride. it also states that men men do not celebrate or appreciate women as much as they should. That women are the pillars of strength for most things in this world we live in, but the men are the ones who are recognized whereas they are ignorant and have pride. Secondly, this article states that women are the people who are there for their children than men because the writer did not mention any role of men " father" or how they help to shape a child or a growing individual. This indicates the absence of men in gender relationships. lastly, this article suggests that both genders are equal, but women play a bigger role both in relationships and in life.

I agree with all the writer's portrayal of men, because we still deal with cases of women stereotypes, absent fathers who believe that women should stay at home and raise children and men who believe that women don't do anything , whereas women fight too many battles for them but because of ignorance it is brushed aside. Of course not all men are ignorant, but this article suggests that most of them are and do not appreciate women as they should.

I do find the writer's style of writing effective, because it makes the reader to have some self-introspection on their attitude towards women. This style of reading keeps the reader intrigued to the article and creates awareness to issues on gender.
